Kaylee and her owner Ariel were walking in the woods one day when Kaylee decided out of nowhere to attempt to leap across the creek. Amazingly, Ariel was able to capture Kaylee's jump in mid air. Kaylee did successfully make it to the other side only to turn around and stare at Ariel with an expression that could be read as, "Well are you coming?" |

Sam is a Havanese who spends half of his time with his owner Susan, and the other half of his time at the Learning House in Guilford, CT. Sam's best friend is a Golden Retriever named Delphi. Sam and Delphi can spend hours together retrieving a ball or laying side by side. There is no explanation for the special bond that these two dogs share but then again, can one really explain true friendship? |

Clara resides at Foxfire Kennels in South Windsor, CT. She was caught staring intently on a squirrel in her backyard. Within a split second after the photo was taken Clara took off to chase the squirrel determined to catch it before it made it to the closest tree. Try as she might Clara did not catch the squirrel that day. She returned to owner's side with a soft, pleasant expression and wagging tail which only could have been read as there is always tomorrow. |

This is a photo of boy named Max and his faithful canine companion Banner. Max met Banner in December of ’08 and the two have been inseparable. Max adores his two-footed friends but, his buddy Banner has a huge advantage over them. Banner can spend every night of the week with Max; whereas Max’s other friends can only stay over on the weekend. |
